New Year, same me…but better

Here we are, the first Friday of 2023 and I’m coming in with my recap of 2022. In typical fashion, I did not prioritize writing this post, so I’m sorry its late. 2022 was definitely a whirlwind of a year. There is A LOT to unpack! I’m going to make this short but sweet because I have more detailed posts planned to dissect the years events.

2022 was the year that I ignored the voice of doubt in the back of my head, and said yes to being my own boss again. The universe has this way of sending signs, and if you are open to it, they sometimes slap you in the face. If you have followed me at all in recent years, you know that the gym is my happy place. So when the opportunity presented itself to open up a physical location for Oliver and Grace inside my happy place, there was almost no hesitation to say yes. Clearly I had discussions with family and friends but we all know I can be a tad impulsive. Megan and I had that “is this for real?” convo and next thing I know, I quit my job and started light renovations on the new space, and here I am! More on the shop and how awesome it is in a later post.

I started a community book club on Facebook. It meets virtually and will also have in person options as we continue to grow!

But my biggest flex of 2022 was truly believing in myself and my potential. I am so excited about what is to come. I do not believe in overnight success, but I do believe that consistent hard work pays off. So where are we going this year? I guess you’ll have to stick around to find out!
